Welcome to The Floating Teahouse, a storycrafting collective. Inspired by the Pak Tea House of Lahore and Stories We Don’t Tell of Toronto, we are a space where the human experience is shared and shaped. Part-writers' workshop, part-community theater, we host monthly events in living rooms around DC. The stories exchanged here deal with those difficult elements of life that we don't usually get to talk about. They focus on, but are not exclusive to, intergenerational immigrant narratives. All are welcome here.
